Mr. Patel - Chairman
& CEO
Mr. Patel assumed the position of Chairman and CEO
in November 2006 and has instituted a clear vision
that has guided Microvision to become a rapidly
growing firm in the IT sector. The organization
has grown over 12000% from then and continues to
grow rapidly. Mr. Patel is determined and focused
to making Microvision the leading company in the
industry. He instills trust, sets strategy, provides
direction, and demands excellence in execution.
He has committed to ensuring that Microvision employees
provide utmost service to their clients in order
to help them reach and exceed their business goals.
Ethics & integrity are characteristics that
he lends to this organization and holds high.
Mr. Patel is an avid reader,
an intense athlete, outdoor enthusiast and an active
participant in charities and philanthropy.
Mr. Shah: Sr. Vice
President – Resource Management/Global Operations
Mr.Shah has years of experience in the IT consulting
sector and truly understands the role IT plays in
helping a company reach its business goals. He is
a skilled motivator and has been instrumental in
setting Microvision’s high level of achievement
and performance through teamwork, planning, and
advanced project management techniques. He and his
team are responsible for client services and for
ensuring that our projects meet and exceed expectations.
He established the national presence of Microvision
office in the US. On the Global front, he is responsible
for moving the organization to become a global provider
of IT solutions. Mr. Shah established the Offshore
Development Center in 2 global locations and is
continuing to expand across continents. Currently
he has over 200 employees under his organization.
Terrance L. Neal: Vice President – Business
Development
Mr. Neal has been a senior sales executive and successful
entrepreneur for more than 14 years and has marketed
successfully to the commercial market, DOD and civilian
agencies in the federal government. As a pioneer
in information management and computer technology
he negotiated distribution rights and marketed early
portable computer technology into parts of Europe,
Asia and the US during the late 80’s. Mr. Neal was
also a principal in a successful Data Imaging company
that provided data conversion for the Aircraft industry
and Amtrak Passenger Rail Corporation. In addition
the company also provided data imaging for litigation
support, legal and medical information management
systems. His career also included positions in marketing
and sales at Georgetown University Health Plan and
later at Kaiser Permanente. He served as Vice President
of Business Development for a data storage software
integration firm and has negotiated multi-million
dollar fortune 100 & 500 accounts in a multiplicity
of industries and within major federal government
markets. He also served as Vice President
of Marketing and Sales for a national health care
management-consulting firm. Finally before coming
to Microvision he worked for Excella Systems and
was a principal and Vice President of Corporate
Development. Excella Systems provided IT consulting
that specialized in layered Biometric Security Systems.
Patrick McDermott – VP – Healthcare Services
Mr. McDermott joined Microvision, Inc. to create
the HealthCare Services Division. Over the past
8 years, Mr. McDermott’s experience includes owning
and operating a successful Healthcare Services firm
and building another firm to a national status.
Mr. McDermott’s skill and knowledge of the healthcare
industry has helped propel him into leadership and
recognition as a key individual in the Healthcare
Services arena. Consistent dedication and commitment
to the highest standards and principles have helped
Mr. McDermott earn his reputation as one of the
best in the industry. His unique management style
coupled with his experience and entrepreneurial
edge will continue to propel Mr. McDermott to success.
Today, Microvision’s Healthcare services arm is
on its way to becoming a nationally recognized firm
for Healthcare services.
Mr. Makani –
CEO Microvision-India
Mr. Makani joined the organization in 2006. Mr.
Makani brings with him, a spectrum of experience
and knowledge that extends from building and managing
multi-dimensional and multi-location businesses,
to building process driven solutions for large enterprises.
He has been instrumental in building the Microvision
BPO practice and successfully automating the processes
involved within these units. His expertise in business
process and practices were key in establishing the
rapid growth and stabilization of the BPO practice.
Previous to joining Microvision, Mr. Makani has
led large organizations in the Information Technology
space in India and the United States. He has a Masters
Degree in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania,
at PA, where he was supported by a scholarship funded
by the National Science Foundation.
